Data and AI Consultant

My International client is seeking a Data and AI expert to join the team on a contract assignment. The initial contract will be for 7-8 months but with possibility of renewal after this. This is a hybrid working model with on-site ( in Luxembourg – 50% of the time ) and off-site working ( 50 % of the time )

What will be your tasks as the Data and AI expert ?

Creating advanced data models and ontologies to enhance data integration and semantic interoperability.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet data needs and provide expert guidance on best practices and technologies.

Building a data catalog to improve data discoverability, accessibility, and governance.

Contributing to a data strategy and governance model aligned with organizational goals.

Designing AI pipelines for enhanced data processing and business insights.

Implementing real-time reporting for accurate, automated data storage and visualization.

Engaging in meetings, sharing innovative ideas, and providing feedback to drive project success.

Requirements

The skills and experience we are seeking in the Data and AI expert

Hold a minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

Have over 5 years of professional experience as a Data & AI Expert or similar

Expertise in data management and governance tools (e.g., Apache Atlas, DataHub) to enhance data discoverability.

Extensive experience in designing/deploying data pipelines and AI/GenAI solutions.

Skilled in real-time data streaming (e.g., Apache Kafka) for advanced reporting solutions.

Proficient in data ingestion, storage, and visualization using ELK, IBM, Microsoft, etc.

Experienced in deploying/fine-tuning LLMs and Transformers with frameworks like Hugging Face, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.

Advantageous skills: Python programming for NLP/GenAI, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), containerization, and software design best practices.

Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

Proficiency in English at B2 level or higher.

Proficiency in English language at a minimum B2 level
