Role: Graphic Designer - European Commission

Location: Remote/Brussels, Belgium - European Commission

Responsibilities:

Following tasks will be performed by external service provider:

• Conceptualize and create visual assets related to the core activities of the Department, in line with the European Commission's priorities for web publications, social media campaigns, and public relations events. This includes infographics, factsheets, policy publications, and other visual materials.
• Produce content for social media platforms, targeting national authorities, public administrations, civil servants, and other stakeholders.
• Create visual content for the corporate website and intranet.
• Design visual assets for public relations events.
• Work closely with the Representations to reach wider audiences, including citizens and representatives of civil society.

Requirements:

Following skills are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic illustration platforms.
• Demonstrated experience in graphic designing for digital and social media platforms.
• Ability to conceptualize and visualize complex ideas into clear, engaging visual content.
• Good understanding of the Europa Component Library
• Ability to collaborate with the communication team and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with the different priorities.

Languages:

• Excellent knowledge of English - Level C1 in Understanding, Speaking and Writing
