We’re currently partnered with a rapidly growing AI venture backend start-up who are looking for a Lead Mobile Engineer to join their growing team.

They currently have over a million users across the global interacting with their application which provides over 50 years of research and cutting edge AI to enable young adults to have access to personalised coaches to support with relationships and helping to rebuild confidence.

As they prepare to raise Series A, they are looking for a motivated Lead Mobile Engineer who is driven by working on impactful products that are making a positive impact.

You’ll be joining the team as an IC but will also help shape and define their engineering culture as they continue to grow.

You’ll be working closely with their team of Engineers and their Technical Engineering Manager across their React Native projects and you’ll have a big impact in helping to shape the technical direction of the product and implement new strategies whilst also having the autonomy to make decisions.

What will you be doing:

• Lead on engineering projects that help support company strategy and results
• Plan and breakdown projects to understand and communicate requirements and company priorities
• Work closely with the team to help triage any hard-to-debug things that might be blocking the platform
• Implement best practice and be an impactful contributor
• Collaborate with both the design team and backend team
• Take ownership across their React Native apps

What are they looking for:

• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
• Good experience and knowledge within React Native
• Demonstrated experience in driving the development of a broad codebase
• Experienced within TypeScript
• Good understanding of system design
