About the Role:

Your main mission will be to provide consistent and professional service to all hotel employees.


Responsibilities


Reporting directly to the General Manager, the main responsibilities will be:


  • Design the annual recruitment plan, calendars, and budget for all hotel departments.
  • Monitor staff vacancies based on occupancy rates and turnover.
  • Interview and evaluate candidates registered on various job portals.
  • Supervise employee attendance and work schedules, including paid leave, overtime, and breaks.
  • Conduct onboarding and induction for new employees.
  • Report and analyze employee turnover rates.
  • Organize employee records, contracts, and working hours.
  • Coordinate and oversee the proper maintenance of employee accommodation, dining areas, break rooms, locker rooms, and restrooms.
  • Schedule both mandatory and developmental training sessions for all hotel employees.
  • Provide support and coordinate the company’s performance evaluation program to identify needs and establish initiatives that contribute to improving staff productivity.
  • Supervise payroll closures in collaboration with the external payroll management firm.
  • Support employees by addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Monitor compliance in occupational health and safety, training, and health surveillance.
  • Oversee and track sick leaves, document signing, communication with employee. .representatives (RLT), and follow-up on labor inspections.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values.


Qualifications:


Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in HR, preferably in hospitality industry. Hold a degree in labor relations, psychology or similar

High level of English and Spanish

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint



Required Skills:


Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with a strategic and results-oriented mindset.


Preferred Skills:


Knowledge of occupational risk prevention, labor regulations, and communication with works councils.
