Frontend Developer

Strategic Staffing Solutions International client is a leading global financial services firm providing investment banking, Global Market and investment management services to a substantial and diversified client base that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments, and high-net-worth individuals. The firm is headquartered in New York and maintains offices in London, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Bengaluru, Hong Kong and other major financial centers around the world.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for building and executing challenging projects across a number of initiatives. You will work with key stakeholders, UX Designers, and other development teams to get requirements and convert them into deliverables. You will learn new technologies, working on constantly upgrading your skill-set and the products you work on to be at-par with the best in the industry. You will innovate and solve technical challenges in an effective manner that emphasizes a long-term vision.

Required Qualifications:

• Min of 3-4 years commercial frontend development experience
• Solid understanding of React JS (Hooks/context API) and standard JavaScript
• Working knowledge of Typescript
• Knowledge of modern CSS techniques and tools (CSS-in-JS/SCSS)
• Sound programming principles (design patterns, unit testing etc.)
• Working knowledge of modern frontend workflows, such a module bundlers (webpack), package managers (npm) and CI/CD pipelines (gitlab/Jenkins)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with redux toolkit query, react query or similar
• Experience building complex forms using any of the existing form libraries for React
• Ag-grid library experience
• Some experience in dealing with legacy code and refactoring
• Appreciation and understanding of good UX principles
