Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join Avid’s Video Servers Team. You will be creating software for exciting new workflows that will be used by major television broadcasters. The ideal candidate will have experience in both front-end and back-end development, with a strong understanding of modern web technologies and best practices. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that provide exceptional user experiences.

Essential requirements:


  • 5 or more years proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React framework
  • Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Node.js, C#, Rust
  • Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar
  • API oriented programming (RESTful APIs)
  • Security software development
  • Excellent debugging abilities, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)


Beneficial:


  • Experience in Unit Testing and TDD
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure)
  • App containerization
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of any scripting language
  • QT framework
  • Experience in media production (audio, video)
  • Agile development process
