We are looking for a passionate and talented Product Owner to join our Manufacturing Analytics Team. As a Product Owner in our Manufacturing Analytics Team, you will lead digitalization and data-driven transformation initiatives in manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and maintenance domains to drive efficiency, traceability, and operational excellence. You will be working closely with a strong community of experts across manufacturing, engineering, data, and IT functions.
Location: Gölcük, Eskişehir, Yeniköy or Sancaktepe with a hybrid working model

Description:
The Product Owner (PO) fulfills the requirements of this role by defining the team’s goals and corresponding action steps, and by leading the team. The PO’s responsibility toward business partners and customers at Ford Otosan is to achieve business objectives, while their responsibility toward the team is to act as a "servant leader." They are obligated to explain to the team what is needed and why it is needed.
To achieve the product goals, PO creates the product backlog, which is a list of tasks the team needs to complete, and determines the priorities of these tasks. To identify the most valuable tasks and the correct priorities, the PO collaborates with stakeholders and customers, obtaining their feedback. The PO ensures transparency regarding the team’s outcomes and any challenges they encounter.
To fulfill these responsibilities, Ford Otosan provides the PO with the necessary decision-making authority and autonomy over both the backlog and the ways of working.
Typically reports to the Data Platform & Automation Tribe Leader.
Your Place in the team:
- Define the product vision and roadmap for smart manufacturing solutions in alignment with Tribe objectives.
- Collect requirements from manufacturing, quality, supply chain, maintenance, and digital transformation stakeholders.
- Lead the preparation and continuous management of the product backlog by translating needs into clear and prioritized backlog items.
- Evaluate priorities based on business and company objectives impact, complexity, and inter-team dependencies.
- Ensure alignment with Ford Otosan’s digital and sustainability strategies, including traceability, zero-defect manufacturing, paperless production, and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including plant leaders, manufacturing engineers, IT teams, data scientists, automation engineers, and business users.
- Maintain continuous communication with other POs to ensure that their team’s requests are included in the backlogs of other teams when necessary.
- Drive value delivery through active involvement in Sprint Planning, Review, and Retrospective meetings.
- Facilitate transparency and communication across teams regarding goals, progress, and challenges.
- Take ownership of performance KPIs related to digital manufacturing applications.
- Ensures coordination and planning to keep the work packages in Ford Otosan's digital R&D projects within the Production domain (Horizon/ITEA R&D Programs) on track with the project timeline. Leads regular reporting activities
- Proactively identify opportunities to scale solutions across plants or processes.
- Collaborate with the Chapter Leaders, Agile Coach, and Tribe Leader to support the development and growth of team members by providing necessary opportunities.
- Actively take part with other POs in resolving conflicts between teams.
- Empower the team to autonomously solve business issues and deliver value to customers and stakeholders.
- Continuously monitor the suitability of the team structure for achieving objectives and provide feedback and suggestions to the Tribe Leader regarding any necessary changes.
We are looking for you if you have:
- BS degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, etc.)
- MS in Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (nice to have)
- Experience in smart/digital manufacturing, production systems, or data analytics projects in manufacturing environments
- Minimum 3 years of experience in digital transformation, analytics, or product ownership roles
- At least 2 years of experience working with agile/scrum teams
- Knowledge in areas such as Horizon/ITEA R&D Programs, Digital Twins, Predictive Maintenance, IoT, Edge Computing, Cloud Computing, Quality Analytics is a strong plus
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving mindset, and a passion for driving change
- Excellent command of English
- Providing coaching and mentorship
- Experience with tools like Azure, Confluence, Tableau, or similar is a plus
