Key responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, providing technical guidance and career development
- Bridge the gap between research and production, ensuring data science models are properly operationalised
- Design and implement machine learning pipelines for anomaly detection and predictive maintenance
- Work with knowledge graphs and ontologies to enhance our building automation intelligence
- Develop strategies for leveraging LLMs within our industrial applications
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate data science solutions into our cloud infrastructure
- Establish best practices for model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance
- Drive innovation in applying AI/ML to building automation and energy optimisation
Skills & Experience:
- Strong leadership experience within data science teams
- Expert-level Python programming with ML frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience deploying ML models to production environments
- Deep understanding of time series analysis and anomaly detection
- Experience with knowledge graphs, ontologies, and semantic technologies
- Experience with large language models and their practical applications
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes
- Understanding of MLOps practices and tools
- Background in industrial IoT or building automation is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts
- Fluent English required, Norwegian is a plus
- Experience with QEMU, Go, or Python
- Familiarity with backend services and RESTful APIs
