React Native Developer – Remote

We are looking for a React Native Developer who are based in countries that are either 3 hours behind or 2 hours ahead of the UAE and will architect, lead, and deliver cutting-edge mobile applications using React Native and Expo. You will uphold high code quality standards, collaborate closely with design and backend teams, and contribute to key product development decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mobile app development projects from ideation to deployment.
• Architect and build scalable, high-performance mobile applications using React Native and Expo.
• Ensure technical excellence through best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers to foster team growth.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
• Manage app release cycles on iOS and Android platforms through Expo Application Services (EAS).
• Conduct code reviews and promote a high-performance engineering culture.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services as needed.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, particularly within the React Native and Expo ecosystem.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in mobile application development.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with React Native and Expo.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern ES6+ features.
• Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, navigation, and state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil).
• Experience with Expo Application Services (EAS) for builds, updates, and deployments.
• Familiarity with iOS and Android app publishing processes (App Store / Google Play).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and mobile testing frameworks.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor and guide team members.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience integrating with Firebase, GraphQL, or RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of mobile analytics, performance optimization, and error tracking tools (e.g., Sentry, Amplitude).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience developing native modules or bridging for Android (Java) and iOS (Swift or Objective-C).
• Previous experience working in a startup or fast-paced product development environment.
