Senior DevOps Engineer (Contract – Remote)  Location: Remote (UAE time zone preferred)

A leading crypto platform is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join on a contract basis. This is a remote role, ideally suited to professionals who can operate within or close to the UAE time zone. You’ll be a key contributor to high-scale infrastructure supporting millions of users across the digital assets space. Experience with a well-known crypto exchange or blockchain project is essential.
 Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure on AWS.
  • Use Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) and GitOps tools like ArgoCD for environment automation.
  • Ensure high availability and performance by automating monitoring, alerting, and incident response using tools such as Datadog, Opsgenie, and AI-driven observability.
  • Oversee and maintain secure cloud infrastructure, including firewalls, network configurations, and failover strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support continuous delivery pipelines and optimize deployment processes.
  • Provide DevOps best practices, architecture guidance, and security recommendations across the stack.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, KMS, etc.).
  • Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Proven success building and managing infrastructure for a well-known crypto exchange or blockchain product.
  • Strong command of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD).
  • Experience managing infrastructure security, network policies, and cloud compliance standards.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment across distributed teams.
