​Charterhouse is working with a growing financial services company in the UAE looking to hire a Financial Data Scientist who will be critical for the organisation’s development.

Our client is looking for a Financial Data Scientist to help enhance their financial analysis and optimize large language models (LLMs) using advanced data science techniques. This role will handle large datasets, build efficient ETL processes, and provide valuable insights that drive financial performance.

The Data Scientist will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable recommendations, evaluating model outputs, and working closely with engineering teams to refine tools and processes.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in data science or financial analytics, particularly with developing financial models or managing financial data. Expertise in Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks is essential, as well as experience with large language models.

Strong communication skills are required to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders. A Master’s Degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science is preferred, along with experience in financial services or investment research. Certifications such as FRM or CFA are also a plus. Excellent communication skills in English are essential for this position.
