Python Developer (Hybrid)

We're seeking someone to join our team as a Python Developer in Non-Financial Risk Technology. You will be developing tooling required for the execution of big data processing and advanced data analytics pipelines.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Lead Data & Analytics Engineering position at Director level, which is part of the job family responsible for providing specialist data analysis and expertise that drive decision-making and business insights as well as crafting data pipelines, implementing data models, and optimizing data processes for improved data accuracy and accessibility, including applying machine learning and AI-based techniques.

What You’ll Do In The Role

• Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible
• Python and shell programming in the context of DevOps automation
• Test and debug applications
• Develop back-end components
  
  

What You’ll Bring To The Role

• At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
• Python
• Linux Shell Scripting
• Unit Testing, Integration Testing
• Strong SQL or equivalent NoSQL skills
• Gradle
• Build and release automation, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, AWS, open stack, and Azure DevOps
• AI/ML Experience would be an asset
