With offices in Singapore, Australia, Japan and Korea, Equis is focused on developing, constructing and operating primary and hybrid renewable energy and biomass generation, power grid distribution and transmission and waste infrastructure assets in Australia, Japan and South Korea.
Role and Responsibilities
- Primarily provide L1 and L2 support to local users through using the helpdesk system and resolve all IT incidents
- Assist in administering the IT Infrastructure that includes on-premise and cloud-based deployments
- Monitor the backup jobs and systems health statuses
- Support, administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and related technologies including, Email, SharePoint Online, MS Teams, One Drive for Business, and more.
- Maintain inventory and purchasing plan for IT equipment and accessories
- Provides occasional remote IT support to users in other offices abroad
- Work with the team to keep the projects on schedule
- Communicate progress and expectations, escalates problems to IT Team for awareness and/or resolution
- Participate in weekly Meetings with the IT Team
- Actively participate and engage in the process for the continuous improvement of departmental procedures
Skills
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in providing deskside/remote IT support, systems administration, IT networks, Microsoft 365
- Knowledge or experience in Microsoft Hyper-V and Azure is preferred
- Good communication skills to ensure users and vendors are properly engaged
- Excellent customer focus, must have demonstrated customer service skills and the ability to interact with users professionally
- Able to communicate effectively (spoken and written) in English
- Microsoft Office 365 Certifications will be advantageous
Qualification
We are looking for a technically competent, problem solver, process oriented professional and someone who communicates well with people of all levels. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should be experienced in managing IT Infrastructure and Workplace Services, be able to handle incidents, change requests, systems patching, projects management, vendor management, systems administration, remote and on-premise user support.
