Overview

Join the "MXP (Monetization, Experimentation, and Personalization) Product Development Team" as a "Software Engineer 2" to build innovative solutions that help our customers succeed. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to drive innovation and deliver high-quality software solutions powering Intuit flagship products – TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mail Chimp.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, equivalent experience will be considered
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on full stack development, including experience with at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, etc.)
  • Experience in at least one interpreted language (Python, Ruby, etc.) and at least one compiled language (Java, Go, etc.)
  • Experience working with cloud-based technologies (AWS) and related services (Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of web architecture concepts (REST, GraphQL, MVC, etc.) and web development best practices (performance, security, accessibility)
  • Specific knowledge or keen interest in AI technologies, including familiarity with platforms and tools pertinent to GenAI, and how they can be implemented to optimally serve business needs
  • Prior experience in ecommerce or monetization systems is highly desirable, providing relevant insights into customer-driven software solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a global environment.
  • Preparedness to handle on-call duties and address critical incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to services.

How you will lead

  • Design, develop, and test software solutions to help our customers succeed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product development teams to define and deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Implement features using basic AI and GenAI technologies to enhance product capabilities and deliver more personalized experiences.
  • Continuously improve our software development processes, practices, and tools to increase the efficiency and quality of deliverables
  • Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and other engineering team activities
  • Perform 24x7 Incident Response for Critical Platform Services, ensuring high availability and performance of system functionalities in all circumstances.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with a globally distributed team
