Job Description:

We are seeking a Power BI Developer who is proficient in both Arabic and English, to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, data modelling, and report creation, and the ability to turn raw data into actionable insights to support business decision-making. As a bilingual professional, you will work with Arabic-speaking stakeholders to ensure effective communication and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT workflows in Azure Databricks using PySpark, SQL, or Scala.
• Integrate Databricks with Power BI through various approaches including:
• Azure Synapse or Lakehouse connectors
• Direct Query via Azure SQL or Delta Sharing
• ODBC or Power BI Gateway for hybrid environments
• Build and publish compelling Power BI dashboards and reports, incorporating DAX calculations, KPIs, drill-through pages, bookmarks, and advanced visuals.
• Develop semantic models and define data relationships within Power BI based on data from Databricks and other sources.
• Optimize Delta Lake tables in Databricks for smooth and fast data access in Power BI.
• Ensure secure and governed data access by implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) in Power BI using DAX filters and role-based access logic.
• Work with business stakeholders to translate reporting needs into effective and intuitive visual analytics solutions.
• Apply performance tuning best practices across data models, queries, and dashboard designs.
• Maintain high standards for documentation, testing, and deployment of integrated data/reporting solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to the needs of various Arabic-speaking business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business users to gather and understand reporting requirements and data needs, ensuring clear communication in Arabic.
• Transform raw data into meaningful insights by designing interactive visualizations and reports using Power BI.
• Build and maintain data models and optimize Power BI performance.
• Connect to a variety of data sources, including databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.), cloud-based systems, and Excel files.
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and preparation using Power Query and DAX.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of data displayed in Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Provide training and support to Arabic-speaking business users on how to effectively use Power BI.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards in both Arabic and English contexts.
• Work with ETL tools and processes to integrate data from various sources.
• Monitor the performance of Power BI reports and optimize them for fast query processing.
• Collaborate with other developers, business analysts, and IT teams to deliver integrated BI solutions.
• Keep up-to-date with Power BI features and best practices to enhance reporting capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience with both Power BI and Azure Databricks in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and workspace management.
• Hands-on expertise with Databricks Notebooks, Delta Lake, and PySpark for data transformation Experience in end-to-end integration of Databricks and Power BI, especially for real-time or near-real-time analytics use cases.
• Understanding of Row-Level Security (RLS) and governance best practices in Power BI.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
