Java Full-Stack Developer

Our client provides scalable, turnkey solutions for core administration, clinical operations, risk adjustment, quality improvement, and Star Ratings optimization — designed to meet the comprehensive needs of modern health plans.

You will be contributing to a cloud-based platform aimed at automating enrollment workflows, improving data accuracy, and accelerating member onboarding for health plans. The system emphasizes interoperability, compliance, and seamless integrations with upstream and downstream processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js or Angular).
• Implement microservices and RESTful APIs for secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
• Build and optimize event-driven architectures using Kafka or equivalent streaming platforms.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD deployments, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Develop solutions using MSSQL and integrate with NoSQL databases as needed.
• Translate business and functional requirements into efficient and robust technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and team collaboration activities.
• Engage with internal stakeholders and client teams to ensure alignment with expectations.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Contribute to improving development best practices and coding standards.

Skills/Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java-based web application development.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, and RESTful Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar message-brokers in event-driven development.
• Proficient in React.js or Angular (preferably Angular 2+).
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Proficiency in relational databases (MSSQL or similar); exposure to NoSQL is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
