Role: Senior Java Developer - Long Term Freelance Contract

Location: Brussels (Hybrid)

We’re seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our major consultancy client. You would be working in the development support team, working on critical systems that power core business operations. You'll develop and maintain application components, contribute to design decisions, and support team members technically. This is a very long term freelance contract working with a market leading client.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend components
• Collaborate on application design with technical leads
• Ensure code is clean, tested, and documented
• Follow established development standards
• Coach team members when needed

Required Skills

• Strong in: Java, Spring (Batch, Security, WebFlow), JPA/Hibernate, SOAP/REST, OWASP, JSF, PrimeFaces, Angular, HTML/CSS/JS, JUnit, CI
• Familiar with: IntelliJ, Git/SVN, Maven, Bamboo, Sonar, Oracle

Languages

• French or Dutch: Professional level in one, passive in the other
• English: Professional Level
