Senior Data Scientist (NLP/Gen AI/CNN Specialist) – Remote/ Hybrid

The Role

My client looking for innovative Senior Data Scientists to join their team and drive cutting-edge AI/ML solutions. You’ll work on training, fine-tuning, and deploying models—from foundational architectures to production-ready systems—with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI, and Computer Vision (CNN).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, train, and optimize NLP models (LLMs, transformers, embeddings) and Generative AI solutions
• Design and implement CNN-based computer vision models for complex datasets
• Build end-to-end ML pipelines—from data preprocessing to model deployment
• Apply deep learning techniques to solve business challenges at scale
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to productionize models
• Stay ahead of emerging AI trends (diffusion models, RLHF, multimodal AI)

Required Skills:

• Strong foundation in ML/DL: Experience training models from scratch (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
• NLP Expertise: Hands-on with LLMs, transformers, text generation, embeddings, RAG
• Generative AI: Fine-tuning, prompt engineering, or developing diffusion/VAE/GAN models
• Programming: Python (PySpark, Scikit-learn), SQL, cloud platforms (Azure, Databricks, Snowflake)
• Data Engineering: Big data processing, ETL pipelines, and optimization
• Problem-solving: Ability to translate business needs into ML solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with healthcare, temporal data, or high-stakes ML applications
• Published research or open-source contributions in AI/ML
• Familiarity with MLOps, model deployment (Docker, Kubernetes), and scalable AI systems
