Part of the Global Business Unit Land and Air Systems (LAS) within Thales Group, Thales AMS (Airspace Mobility Solutions) is providing leading edge airspace control and security solutions for the commercial and defense sectors, as well as digital solutions for Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) and Digital Aviation.
AMS represents revenues of over 500 million Euros worldwide and is the global market leader in the space of Air Traffic Management and one of the most credible players in the new UTM space. AMS address different markets of Air Traffic Control (ATC) solutions (mainly SW based). Projects involves
teams in France (Rungis/Toulouse), Portugal, UK, Romania and Australia.
Mission
The Platform Tools support developer will be responsible for the day-to-day management of tools used during development and V&V phases of SDLC. Platform tools development includes the following activities:
- Daily support to project teams for Dev and V&V tools (maintenance, migration, debug, distribution);
- Management & Debugging of test platform and tools;
- Work in collaboration with the PO to implement V&V tool evolutions;
- Coordination with E2 team for development, integration and distribution environment (methods and tools).
- Relevant experience in Software Engineering
- In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
- Good technical skills in software development and software testing
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Self-reliance and good communication skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- English language fluency and proficiency
