The Opportunity

As a Senior SRE Engineer, you will have a crucial role on our Bucharest team, maintaining and developing core services essential for messaging between Adobe services. What You'll Do

• Manage and improve our core messaging service with a focus on scalability and reliability.
• Plan, design, develop, and test software systems or applications for software improvements and new products, including cloud-based or internet-related tools.
• Complete SRE and DevOps tasks to ensure the flawless operation and maintenance of our systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine and successfully implement standard methodologies in software engineering.
• Manage industry known technologies like Kafka together with brand-new tech to compete at the highest level of market complexity and scale .
  
  

What you need to succeed

• Proven experience with SRE/DevOps practices (5 year min)
• Good coding skills. Java is a plus
• Experience with Unix/Linux system administration and programming
• Experience with Kubernetes and Kafka is a plus
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based systems and internet-related tools.
