Job Description Summary

The Cybersecurity intern will assist in various OT (Operational Technology) cybersecurity tasks and projects under the supervision of a seasoned cybersecurity professional and learn how to contribute to the organization's cybersecurity initiatives. The role is offered for minimum 6 months, up to 12 months.

In line with the Emiratization requirements preference will be given to qualified Emirati nationals.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on emerging OT cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities and technologies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies, procedures and tools
  • Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity, mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  • Previous internship experience is preferred
  • Foundational to intermediate knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of network fundamentals and protocols
  • Knowledge of Scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiar with common cybersecurity tools (e.g., Nessus, Metasploit, Wireshark).
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
