About the Role:

As a Machine Learning Intern, you will contribute to the development and optimization of machine learning models that power our sustainability platform. You will be responsible for implementing and fine-tuning algorithms, developing predictive models, and assisting in integrating models into our platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our experienced machine learning team, gain hands-on experience with advanced techniques, and make a tangible impact on sustainability efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Build, train, and optimize machine learning models tailored to sustainability-related tasks.
• Clean and preprocess datasets to ensure high-quality inputs for the models.
• Implement predictive models and algorithms for various use cases.
• Develop pipelines to automate the integration of machine learning models into our platform.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to refine models and improve performance.
• Assist in performance monitoring and debugging of deployed models.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, PyTorch).
• Hands-on experience with data preprocessing techniques.
• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) such as OpenAI’s GPT, Claude, or similar.
• Knowledge of MLOps practices (e.g., deployment, monitoring) is a plus.
• Candidates with hands-on experience in training and fine-tuning models such as Gemma and LLaMA will have an advantage.
• Basic understanding of SQL or willingness to learn.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for machine learning and enthusiasm for continuous learning.
