As a Working Student in Data Science & Software Engineering, you’ll gain hands-on experience refining and expanding a data analytics tool to support business development. This project will give you exposure to real-world consulting by bridging technical excellence with strategic communication. What You Do

• Enhance an existing data analytics tool, improving code quality, structure, and scalability to create a robust base product.
• Simulate data for business development purposes, ensuring realistic and insightful demonstrations.
• Develop external-facing materials, such as a slide deck or demo video, to showcase the tool’s capabilities to potential clients.
• Apply data science techniques, including statistical modelling and data visualisation, to create meaningful insights.
• Collaborate with consultants, data scientists, and engineers to align technical development with business needs.
  
  

This part-time role (24–32 hours per week) is designed to fit around your studies, offering flexibility while providing valuable industry experience.

About

• Is a Master’s student in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Has strong coding skills in Python, with experience in data processing, software engineering, and building scale solutions.
• Has a basic understanding of data visualisation, able to create intuitive and compelling representations of insights.
• Is analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
• Has excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
• Is fluent in English, both written and spoken.
