System Administrator

The System Administrator is responsible for the configuration and support of the railway's IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure system availability and reliability.
• Backup and Recovery: Develop and manage backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity.
• User Support: Provide technical support to railway staff, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with system access and permissions.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking, virtualization, and cloud services.
• N2 Windows Administrator and SQL server.
• N2 Linux Administrator and Oracle, PostgreSQL.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Communication Skills: French language - minimum level B2 mandatory.

Working Conditions:

• Please note that the working hours are from 5 AM to 10 PM CET, with on-call availability required 24/7 (including weekends) on a rotational basis.
• You will participate in an onsite training in France, for a period of 2 months.
