Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a visionary Senior Data Scientist with hands-on expertise and leadership qualities to steer the development of our AI-powered process optimization software. You will spearhead initiatives in machine learning, deep learning, and optimization for smarter and more efficient manufacturing controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions in Python that drive real-time prediction and optimization in manufacturing environments.
• Drive the hands-on development of core AI capabilities, translating complex industrial challenges into robust, production-ready machine learning and optimization solutions.
• Lead the end-to-end development of scalable deep learning models that understand complex process behavior and improve production outcomes.
• Architect and enhance our no-code ML pipeline, ensuring reliability, modularity, and extensibility for industrial use cases.
• Implement and maintain robust MLOps workflows for monitoring, updating, and automating models in production.
• Collaborate with software engineers, domain experts, and product managers to align model outputs with factory system requirements and business objectives.
• Guide the use of Explainable AI to build trust and transparency into model decisions for critical operations.
• Pioneer knowledge transfer strategies using reusable AI templates and leveraging both historical and domain-specific data.
• Integrate AI models with industrial data systems (e.g., OPC-UA, MQTT) and factory platforms (e.g., SCADA, MES, ERP) for seamless deployment and closed-loop optimization.

Qualifications:

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in machine learning, deep learning, AI for time-series/industrial process data.
• Expert-level Python skills and proficiency in frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps, Docker, and deploying models in production environments.
• Familiarity with historian databases, cloud data lakes, or system log file integration.
• Experience with industrial environments, process industries, or OT/IT systems is a strong plus.
• Practical experience with OPC, MQTT, or similar industrial protocols is highly valued.
