📍 Entre Campos, Lisbon

Hybrid project (you have to be based in Portugal)

You must have:

• Solid experience in frontend development;
• At least 4 years of experience with React;
• Hands-on expertise with Next.js, ideally within large-scale, high-performance environments;
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, application architecture and the full web development lifecycle;
• Proven ability to craft responsive, accessible and visually engaging web applications with a user-first mindset;
• Strong experience optimising web apps for speed, scalability, and SEO (including GA/GA4 integration);
• Creative and practical approach to balancing design and functionality;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges;
• Comfortable working within cross-functional teams and communicating technical decisions to both tech and non-tech audiences;
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Your responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to turn business goals into scalable technical solutions;
• Drive the strategic evolution of our frontend architecture as we transition to React and Next.js;
• Own and maintain the frontend codebase, establishing best practices for clean, reusable, and high-performance code;
• Optimise frontend performance and ensure a seamless user experience across devices;
• Contribute to the product direction by staying ahead of frontend trends and championing innovation;
• Document your work thoroughly and help create a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
