Cloud Engineer for Global AI Platform in Medical Imaging

We are now looking for a motivated and technically skilled cloud engineer to join our Amplifier group. The Amplifier group is responsible for a SaaS offering called Amplifier Services, a fully managed service allowing Sectra PACS customers to easily access AI applications for clinical use. Our service offering consists of a combination of our own software products (Amplifier Platform and Connector Proxy) combined with Sectra's other products and services and the use of Azure for deployment. Through our service, we are part of an ongoing revolution within healthcare, where AI goes from being a pipe dream to a clinical reality making a difference for both patients and healthcare providers.

Role Description

As a cloud engineer with us, you will:

• Be responsible for delivering our SaaS service in a standardized and structured way to global customers.
• Ensure operational reliability and performance in our virtual systems and work on continuous improvement of our solutions through automation and optimization.
• Work in complex IT environments where knowledge of virtualization, networking, scripting, and integrations between healthcare systems is crucial.
• Be responsible for our test activities of AI applications from 3rd party vendors.

Location

This role is based at our headquarters in Linköping.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Operation and optimization of virtual systems with a focus on stability and performance.
• Installation, maintenance, and upgrades of various software products and infrastructure.
• Automation to streamline processes and minimize manual errors.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving to continuously improve our service.
• Verification and validation of 3rd party AI applications.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

• A BSc or MSc in Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, Media Technology, or equivalent.
• Experience working with cloud-based IT solutions and/or complex IT environments.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization, networking and scripting.
• A genuine interest in technology and innovation, as well as an analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  
  

Desirable Experience

• Skills in IT security, virtualization, Linux, Docker, Python, storage solutions, and MS Azure.
• Experience working with automation and scripting.
• Experience from AI in the healthcare domain.
• Previous experience of leading or participating in projects in international environments.
• Interests or commitments outside of work, such as sports, music, or volunteer work.
