Senior Mobile Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for Senior Mobile Engineers (iOS and Android)  in Warsaw or Bratislava to take our native mobile applications, used by millions of users, to the next level. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our front-end and back-end teams to explore new ways for our top-tier clients to engage with technology, delivering world class mobile experiences across platforms, from smartphones and tablets to TVs and beyond.

Your main activities will be:

• Work on custom projects and in-house products of international scope, mainly in the video streaming sector.
• Be involved in all stages of the development cycle: analysis, estimation, documentation, coding, bug fixing, and support.
• Maintain open and transparent communication with team members and customers.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Work alongside fellow engineers to develop software based on well-defined backlog items.
• Cooperate with testers to ensure efficient and timely quality assurance.
• Take ownership and responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of mobile applications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and proactively solve problems.

Required Skills and Experience:

For iOS Developers:

• Strong experience with Swift 5, Xcode, and foundational iOS frameworks.
• Proven track record with consumer-facing iOS applications.
• Proficiency in SwiftUI, modular architecture, and building adaptive UIs for iPhones, iPads, and Apple TV.
• Deep understanding of Apple’s HIG, performance optimization, and memory management.
• Experience in managing CI/CD and participating hand by hand with the DevOps engineer..
• Experience in CI/CD integration, Git, and automated testing (TDD is a plus).

For Android Developers:

• Strong experience with Kotlin, Android Studio, and Android SDK.
• Proven experience building polished Android apps for phones, tablets, and Android TV.
• Deep understanding of modern Android architecture components.
• Knowledge of Android UI/UX patterns, Material Design guidelines, and responsive layouts.
• Proficiency in Gradle, modular app architecture, and dependency injection tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing frameworks.

General Requirements (Both Platforms):

• Passionate mobile developer staying up to date with platform trends and best practices.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, animations, custom transitions, and multi-threaded programming.
• Strong debugging and performance analysis skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration.
• English language proficiency.
