Senior Project Manager – Data & AI (m/f/d)

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to lead and manage critical Data and AI initiatives within ADNIC. This role will oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects focused on data modernization, AI use cases, advanced analytics, and the establishment of a Data & AI Center of Excellence (CoE). The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, domain knowledge in insurance, and a solid understanding of data platforms and AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage Data & AI programs and projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Drive the execution of initiatives such as enterprise data architecture, master data management, AI use cases, data governance, and data quality improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, business units, data scientists, and external vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement activities including RFP processes, contract negotiations, and LPO finalization.
• Ensure effective communication with stakeholders and provide regular updates to senior leadership, including progress reports, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Support the development and rollout of the Data & AI Center of Excellence, including defining governance structures, operating models, and delivery frameworks.
• Align project activities with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in data security, privacy, and compliance.
• Facilitate adoption of AI and data platforms by promoting business engagement, change management, and user enablement.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 12+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years managing data and AI-related initiatives.
• Strong understanding of insurance industry processes and systems.
• Experience in managing large-scale data programs including data lakes, data warehouses, analytics platforms, and AI tools.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional and vendor teams, ideally in a hybrid or matrixed environment.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data management tools, and AI/ML platforms.
• Familiarity with Azure, Microsoft Power BI, Databricks, Informatica, or similar technologies.
• Exposure to agile delivery methodologies and enterprise IT transformation programs.
• Understanding of UAE regulatory landscape related to data and AI (e.g., Open Finance, data privacy laws).
