Staff Developer

customers across North America. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to deliver secure applications using modern tools and practices.This is a permanent role -hybrid 3 days a week in West GTA. Compensation includes base salary plus bonus and benefits

💼 What You’ll Do

• Lead technical planning and architecture for large-scale features and initiatives
• Own and evolve our technical roadmap across multiple teams
• Guide developers through code reviews, mentorship, and hands-on support
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Security, and Product to ensure seamless delivery
• Monitor platform performance and continuously improve system reliability
• Ensure code quality, system scalability, and compliance across the stack
• Contribute to tooling, development standards, and technical decision-making

🧠 What You Bring

• 7+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years in a senior or staff-level technical leadership role
• Strong experience with modern web technologies — especially React.js, Node.js, and MySQL
• Exposure to legacy stacks like AngularJS and PHP is a plus
• Solid understanding of web security (e.g., XSRF, SQL injection)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
