Job Title: Cybersecurity Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and technically hands-on Cybersecurity Manager to join my client's growing team. This role requires a well-rounded professional with strong audit and governance experience, deep knowledge of security operations, and the ability to manage regulatory and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the cybersecurity audit process, including direct engagement with internal and external auditors, handling RFIs/RFQs, and ensuring audit readiness.
- Oversee and manage security vendors and services including Security Operations Centre (SOC), infrastructure protection, and managed security services.
- Design, implement, and manage technical security controls across various domains (Network Security, Endpoint Protection, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Cloud Security, Security Incident Response)
- Ensure timely patch management, antivirus configuration, and remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Maintain and update cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory frameworks.
- Monitor changes in the threat landscape and ensure compliance with the latest MAS TRM and other relevant financial regulations.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure secure architecture and system configurations.
- Drive security awareness and risk management initiatives across the organization.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of cybersecurity experience within the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of and hands-on experience in key security domains and tools (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, AV, VAPT tools, endpoint protection, encryption).
- Proven track record in managing and responding to audits, regulatory inspections, and RFQs.
- Familiarity with MAS TRM and other financial regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing security vendors and third-party risk.
- Strong policy writing, governance, and risk management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, OSCP, CEH, or other relevant industry certifications.
