PHP Developer

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a PHP Developer in Palo Alto, CA. Duties Include:

• Contribute to the complete software development lifecycle for Supply Chain UI applications, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and meet high-quality standards
• Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications, utilizing React, PHP and Python and web tooling to create highly performant and scalable user experiences
• Implement rigorous testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, to guarantee the reliability and performance of applications under various conditions
• Actively maintain and promote the core values of the team, which include engineering excellence, curiosity, a bias for action, self-awareness, inclusivity, and vulnerability, contributing to a positive and productive team culture
• Work closely with Product Manager and Engineering to figure out requirements and resolve problems
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science
• 4+ years of experience in web application design and development
• Experience in design, development, and testing of web software applications, version control (preferentially GIT), HTML and semantic markup, CSS responsive design
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript/ES6+
• Experience with >=PHP 8, ReactJS, TypeScript, Splunk
• Experience with D3.js, AG-Grid, and other data visualization and analytic libraries
• In-depth knowledge of web fundamentals (HTTP, HTML, REST, JSON) and API development with emphasis on REST APIs
• Experience with Relational Databases such as MySQL
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, as well as managing deployment infrastructure for web applications
• Supply Chain knowledge is preferred
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
