JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE
Offer support and assistance to Company and its projects in the E & I Workshop, ensuring adherence to Quality and HSE standards. Promote established policies and objectives within the workshop to enhance awareness, motivation, and engagement.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and direction to the Electrical & Instrumentation Workshop team. Manage a team of Electrical, Instrumentation, and ELV engineers, technicians, and support staff . Set Workshop goals and objectives and ensure they align with the organization's overall goals.
- Analyze work schedules and review the resources and costs to deliver the workshop projects. Continually assess and prioritize defined sequence tasks within strict schedules, through individual effort and coordination of the work of others. Meet or exceed established PMO metrics including revenue forecasting, assigned project reporting/results, customer revenue/project resource loads, and customer feedbacks. Oversee and evaluate potential risk management process through project risk register, conduct lesson learned sessions. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of workshop projects.
- Develop and manage the Workshop budget, Ensure efficient use of resources and cost-effective operations, Monitor expenses, control costs, and report financial performance to higher management.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the engineers and technicians whenever required. Solve complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
- Forecast Workshop resource needs, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Ensure adequate staffing levels and skills within the department.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of systems in workshop projects. Communicate and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders. Work closely with clients or internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet those requirements.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards. Monitor implementation of the Asset/Project/Function Quality Management System through regular audits and reviews.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
A. Education
Required (Qualification / Discipline): Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
Preferred (Qualification / Discipline): Post-Graduate Degree or Master’s in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering
B. Experience
Required (Years/ Job Level/ Industry):
Must have minimum of 10 years of solid work experience in E&I Workshop related work/ Management Level / Oil & Gas Industry.
C. Preferred (Years/ Job Level/ Industry):
Excellent understanding of E&I Workshop system, processes & ISO standards with strong Workshop related experience with company setting in Oil & Gas, EPIC (Engineering, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning).
D. Languages
Required (Language / Level): English - Proficient
Preferred (Language / Level): Hindi & Arabic is an added advantage
