Qualifications & skills required:
- PhD holder with specialization in Cybersecurity/Information Security/related disciplines
- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant industry experience in cybersecurity or related IT fields.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a higher education institution recognized by Oman may obtain preference.
- Experience in teaching postgraduate-level students in cybersecurity or related disciplines is an advantage.
- Strong verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
- Demonstrated competencies in Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Instructional Design and Delivery, Course Management, Cybersecurity Content Expertise, and Academic & Career Counselling.
- Must hold an IELTS certificate with an overall band score of not less than 7 or an equivalent English proficiency qualification
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Teaching, Curriculum and Teaching Materials development, supervision of UG and PG student projects, assessments and moderation, module leadership, acquiring research funding, publications, community outreach and other administration and academic tasks.
- Active in research, showing intellectual engagement with current trends and challenges in Cybersecurity.
- Any other Administrational Responsibilities
