Lead Golang Software Engineer

SoftServe is leading a fast-paced consolidation and delivery acceleration program for a U.S.-based technology group in the public safety space. The focus is on stabilizing critical platforms, driving consistent engineering delivery across multiple product lines, and executing a large backlog of customer-facing integrations.

IF YOU ARE

• Experienced with 5+ years designing and implementing scalable, distributed solutions using Go (Golang), including MongoDB and RESTful API design
• Proven in roles such as Technical Lead, Lead Engineer, or Engineering Manager within distributed Agile environments
• Skilled in front-end development with React
• Experienced with state management tools such as Redux or equivalents
• Proficient in AWS services, containerization using ECS, and CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Familiar with quality assurance processes involving both manual and automated testing
• Used to engaging with U.S.-based stakeholders and collaborating across globally distributed teams
• Strong in communication, leadership, and conflict resolution
• Independent in navigating high-autonomy, delivery-focused environments
• Knowledgeable in Python for integration services (as an advantage)
• Familiar with Form.IO for dynamic form generation (would be a plus)
• Exposed to legacy AngularJS systems (nice to have)
  
  
  

AND YOU WANT TO

• Act as the primary technical leader driving delivery across several product and integration tracks
• Oversee solution design, code reviews, architectural decision-making, and delivery consistency
• Provide mentorship and direction to a team of frontend, backend, QA, and DevOps engineers
• Ensure adherence to best practices in code quality, CI/CD pipelines, and system monitoring
• Maintain close collaboration with SoftServe PM and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with delivery objectives
• Coordinate the resolution of technical blockers, stabilize production systems, and support product evolution
• Drive the execution of customer-facing integrations, working across shared roadmaps
