Junior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

As we cherish talent, we invite all growth-focused engineers to join our DevOps Practice Community in Ukraine Practice, a part of the Critical Services Center of Excellence (CoE). We participate in different private and public cloud-oriented projects of different sizes and scales. This includes enterprise-scale migrations, designing and developing cloud-native applications, working with the latest and trending technologies, and spreading expertise and DevOps culture across the organization.

Our client is an American cybersecurity company that aims to build a new unified platform, also known as the Shared Services Platform, to facilitate faster development and deliver more scalable and reliable products to customers. This approach will allow the company to deploy applications regardless of their runtime environment and orchestrate infrastructure provisioning using a unified method. The concept also involves provisioning so-called cells, which are Kubernetes clusters (AWS EKS) that can be provisioned on demand.

IF YOU ARE

• Experienced with at least 2 years in a DevOps role
• Skilled in leveraging AWS services for infrastructure and deployment
• Proficient in using Terraform and Kubernetes, specifically AWS EKS
• Experienced in configuring logging and observability within Kubernetes environments
• Familiar with standard DevOps practices and supporting tools
• Understanding of GitOps principles with practical knowledge of ArgoCD
• Accustomed to working with CI/CD pipeline tools in production workflows
• Comfortable communicating daily with English-speaking software engineers on the client side
• Familiar with tools like NewRelic, Port.io, Wizz, Opensearch, and BlackDuck (as a plus)

• Deploy the application in Kubernetes
• Orchestrate infrastructure provisioning using a unified method
• Assist in logging and monitoring activities related to cloud infrastructure and container logging
• Contribute to developing and implementing security measures for infrastructure builds, focusing on efficiencies for S3 buckets and pipeline builds
• Cooperate with the product team about integration into the platform
• Provide technical expertise and knowledge to consult clients through the projected enrollment
