Product Management (12 Month Contract)

ClearView is a leading ASX listed life insurer dedicated to providing innovative insurance solutions that champion customer outcomes. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Product Manager to join our friendly team and support our life risk insurance product suite.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving product development, managing in-force portfolios, and ensuring alignment with our strategic priorities. You’ll be a champion for customer outcomes and work collaboratively with various stakeholders to enhance our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development Activities:

• Draft product specifications, Product Disclosure Statements (PDS), Target Market Determinations (TMDs), and Adviser Guides for product updates.
• Lead project management for product updates, including scoping changes, liaising with other business areas to assess impacts and risks, and overseeing implementation and launch activities.
• Manage the in-force portfolio and develop both technical and marketing content.
• Support operational activities related to products, such as end-of-financial-year documentation.
• Oversee the management of collateral.

System Migration Support:

• Provide product subject matter expert (SME) support as required.
• Assist with business user system testing.

Team Guidance and Risk Management:

• Offer technical product guidance to junior team members and operational areas.
• Promote ClearView’s risk management behaviors within the product team, focusing on incident management, governance frameworks, and appropriate controls.

Qualifications Required:

• RG146 (desirable)
• Degree or qualification in Business, Economics, Actuarial, or a Finance-related discipline (desirable)

Skills and Attributes:

• 2+ years of life insurance product experience
• Strong knowledge of the Australian life insurance market
• Solid technical skills and knowledge in life insurance
• Exceptional writing skills
• Strong project planning, management, and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Understanding of product profitability and commercial drivers
• Customer-focused mindset
• Proficient in product and process development
• Skilled in portfolio analysis
• Knowledge of medical and disability dynamics
