Hays has partnered with a Sydney-based government organisation seeking a Technical Lead to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation and bolster digital capability while working on complex enterprise applications.

Your New Role
As a Technical Lead, you will be instrumental in driving the development, support, and solution design for enterprise applications. Your role involves managing and maintaining applications to ensure their efficiency and reliability. You will lead the creation of solution architectures and guide them through security and architecture review processes. Additionally, you will oversee system changes, ensuring they meet high-quality standards, are delivered on time, and stay within budget. You will drive technological advancements and will be key to enhancing strategic planning and execution whilst ensuring excellence across both support operations and the development lifecycle.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Over 10 years of experience in .NET development.
• Waterfall methodology experience
• Expertise in designing solutions for complex IT environments, including a mix of on-premise and hybrid cloud infrastructures.
• Proficiency in managing technical projects.
• Proven ability to produce in-depth business cases supported by analytical and written skills.
• A strong background in enterprise application development in professional settings.
• Experience in managing development and production ecosystems.
• Familiarity with the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Advanced communication and presentation abilities.

Desirable Experience
Experience in the following areas will be advantageous:

• .NET Core development.
• SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, and BizTalk development.
• System Center Operations Manager (SCOM).
