Job Title: Senior .NET Core Developer—WebAPI & AWS

Contract Type: 6-Month Contract (Extendable)

Location: Sydney, Australia

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced .NET Core Developer with strong backend development expertise, particularly in WebAPI architecture, AWS services, and real-time integrations using Kafka. The ideal candidate will bring a solid track record in enterprise-level development, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure .NET Core WebAPIs.
• Lead solution and architecture design, ensuring alignment with best practices and performance goals.
• Implement and manage API integrations with internal and external systems.
• Work with AWS services and Kafka to build cloud-native, event-driven solutions.
• Collaborate within Agile teams, contributing to planning, development, and delivery cycles.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills:

• 10 years of IT experience with at least 6 years in .NET Core WebAPI development.
• Proficient in C#, SQL Server, AWS, and Kafka.
• Proven experience in API architecture and integration.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Prior experience in the banking domain.

Nice to Have:

• Background in Cards or Payments domain.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
