DevOps Engineer

Job Description:

• English is mandatory since they need to work with global team
• Eventually weekend support if deployment happens on weekend (can be 1 per month or per quarter)
• Create a release management plan. Define the stages (e.g., planning, testing, deployment), roles and responsibilities, tools to be used, and criteria for release readiness
• Implement a branching strategy. Decide on branch naming conventions, when to create branches (feature branches, release branches), and guidelines for merging changes
• Application monitoring. Configure to collect metrics from the application, set up dashboards to visualize metrics, and create alerts for critical thresholds
• Automate the provisioning of cloud infrastructure using Terraform. Write Terraform scripts to define and deploy resources (e.g., virtual machines, databases) on a cloud provider (e.g., Azure, AWS)
• Implement a CI/CD pipeline for a sample application. Set up a pipeline using a CI/CD tool to automate build, test, and deployment processes. Include stages for unit testing, integration testing, and deployment to a staging environment
• Sec DevOps. Conduct a security assessment of your CI/CD pipeline. Identify potential security vulnerabilities (e.g., insecure configurations, outdated dependencies) and implement measures to mitigate them (e.g., automated security scans, dependency updates)
• Azure DevOps. GCG DevOps. Building pipelines, should be an expert
• Knowledge of Automation Testing Tools for automation regression testing
• Monitoring of applications
• Strong CI/CD experience, ability to manage and deploy branches, automation of testing, (ALL Cloud & BIG DATA ENGINEERING SKILLS)
• Performance tuning, framework design and development
• Strong technical SME in GCP components – BigQuery, DataFlow, BigTable, GCS, DataForm, Python Scripting, EventHub, Kafka, Data Lakes, SQL, or SPARK and SCALA programming, Tensorflow
• Strong technical SME in Azure components – Azure Functions, ADF, Databricks, EventHub, Synapse, Datawarehouse, Cosmos, Azure SQL, ADLS, SPARK and SCALA programming (ALL Cloud & BIG DATA ENGINEERING SKILLS)
• Performance tuning, framework design and development
• Working with engineering and vendor to setup new components.
• Performing poc’s on new components to support enterprise architecture.
• Knowledge on Integration tools and technologies
• Support development issues on the platform
• Strong Terraform, HELM and other platform DevOps experience
