Amber Axis is expanding its consulting crew and looking for an experienced HR Specialist / Generalist to support our clients on a flexible, project-based basis.

This is not your traditional in-house HR role — it’s a dynamic consulting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, is confident working independently, and thrives in a freelance-style setup. You’ll become part of Amber Axis’ trusted network, supporting client companies directly as an HR consultant, working both on clearly defined projects and ongoing HR support engagements.

What the role looks like:

You will:

• Join our client organizations as a trusted HR partner

• Manage core HR processes across the full employee lifecycle (onboarding, employee relations, offboarding)

• Handle HR documentation and ensure legal and internal compliance

• Act as a go-to advisor for managers on people-related matters

• Support or lead employee engagement and internal communication initiatives

• Identify and implement process improvements to make HR smarter and more effective

• Work flexibly — typically 40 to 80 hours per month, depending on project needs

• Operate independently, while being backed by the Amber Axis team

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in a generalist/specialist HR role

• Confidence in managing HR topics end-to-end with minimal supervision

• Strong client-oriented mindset — you understand how to add value to a business through HR

• A self-starter who is comfortable with flexible schedules and changing scopes

• Experience working as a contractor, consultant, or in entrepreneurial environments is a strong plus

• Fluency in Lithuanian and English
