We are seeking a talented and motivated Java Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in software development to join our dynamic team. You will work on cutting-edge projects where Agile and DevOps methodologies are core to our approach. In this role, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining critical applications. You will collaborate closely with customers to deliver high-quality solutions, support their digital transformation, and build strong relationships that drive project success.

What will you do?

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure Java-based applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Work in Agile or DevOps environments to ensure rapid and high-quality delivery of software solutions.
  • Ensure quality by conducting code reviews, writing unit tests, and maintaining documentation.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Integrate modern front-end and back-end frameworks and tools into projects as needed.


What do you bring?

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science.
  • Scrum Master certification.
  • OCA (Java SE 8) or OCP (Java SE 11 or 17) certification.
  • Experience in Java front-end and/or back-end development, preferably familiar with Spring MVC and Hibernate or JPA.
  • Practical experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL); knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB is a plus.
  • Project experience with technologies and tools such as JEE, JPA, Hibernate, Spring Framework, Maven, Gradle, Ant, ORM, HTML5, CSS, JQuery, GIT, JIRA, Jenkins, Confluence.
  • Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, Backbone, Vue, and Node is a big advantage.
  • Experience with or knowledge of Cloud Native principles/technologies and practical knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience with integration products such as WSO2, Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, Tibco BusinessWorks, and Microsoft BizTalk is a plus.
  • Comfort working in Agile and a passion for Scrum environments.
  • You speak Dutch fluently.
