About the Role

In this position, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering scalable backend systems and intuitive user-facing features. You’ll work across a cross-functional team, mentoring others and contributing both to the codebase and the broader architectural direction. You enjoy navigating both strategic decisions and hands-on technical challenges, turning complex energy and infrastructure problems into maintainable, high-quality software. Projects may include things like data-rich dashboards or distributed services that interact with physical infrastructure.

Who You Are

You're someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving tech environment and enjoys contributing to meaningful outcomes. You bring:

• 7+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
• A higher education background in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• A thoughtful, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Initiative and leadership—comfortable guiding projects and mentoring peers.
• A collaborative spirit with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Experience designing, building, testing, and deploying scalable software systems.
• Familiarity with microservices, modern DevOps practices, and cloud-native tools.

Technologies We Work With (You don’t need all of them)

• JavaScript / TypeScript / Node.js; Go is a bonus.
• Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, InfluxDB.
• React (or similar modern frontend frameworks).
• REST, GraphQL, gRPC.
• CI/CD pipelines, containerization, cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Fluent English; Dutch is a bonus but not required.
