At Telia, we are proud to work at the cutting edge of Radio Access Network (RAN) technology, continuously improving the experience for our customers. I’m Anders Larsson, leading the RAN Operation & Ericsson Change team, and I’m proud of every member of our highly skilled and collaborative group. We provide 2nd and 3rd level support for customers and coordinate across multiple interfaces and stakeholders to keep operations running smoothly.
As a Network Engineer…
You will play a key role in supporting and developing RAN services in an ever-changing technological landscape. You will become one of our in-house experts, working with new technologies and services, participating in evaluation processes, and contributing to the rollout of new features and platforms. Part of your role will involve sharing knowledge, delivering training sessions, and creating clear technical guidelines. This is a great opportunity to work alongside dedicated colleagues, broaden your technical expertise, and contribute directly to enhancing Telia’s network services.
We are looking for someone who is eager to take on new tasks, thrives in a constantly evolving environment, and enjoys engaging with both technical challenges and customer-focused outcomes. You have strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a positive, proactive mindset that helps you navigate change. You understand the importance of collaboration and know that supporting your team and partners is key to success. You bring relevant technical knowledge, whether from a university degree or equivalent experience, and you are motivated to keep learning and growing in your role.
Who We’re Looking For…
To succeed, you will need a solid understanding of Radio Access Networks, especially Ericsson’s base stations and related technologies. Experience working with node configuration in Ericsson Network Manager (ENM) is valuable, and familiarity with scripting technologies like Amos, Linux, or Python is a plus. Knowledge of RAN quality metrics, such as MCDR, Accessibility, Retainability, and MDS, and a general understanding of IP (TCP/IP) for troubleshooting the transport network will strengthen your profile. While experience with automation and older technologies like 2G/BSC or 3G/RNC is advantageous, what matters most is your passion for delivering high-quality results and your ability to grow into the role. Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is required for this position.
