ARC Business Solutions Inc. is currently seeking individuals with experience as an Application Developer for immediate opportunities. This is for a 6 month term and the role is hybrid in Calgary.

ROLE: Application Developer

The successful candidates must possess demonstrated experience in the following areas:

MANDATORY:

• 3-5 years of development experience, preferably in higher education IT environments
• Understanding of business processes in higher education, including student records, finance, and HR systems, is an asset
• Strong experience with Oracle APEX for web-based application development
• Exposure to Oracle databases and related tools (SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning)
• Knowledge of other relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) is a plus
• Experience with third-party system integrations and APIs
• Experience working with Ellucian Banner ERP is an asset
• Knowledge of IT security best practices in an enterprise environment
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments for application deployment and support
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
  

Degree designations (e.g., Bachelor of Science, Computing Science, Engineering), from recognized universities is a desirable criteria in our selection process.
