ROLE: Application Developer
The successful candidates must possess demonstrated experience in the following areas:
MANDATORY:
- 3-5 years of development experience, preferably in higher education IT environments
- Understanding of business processes in higher education, including student records, finance, and HR systems, is an asset
- Strong experience with Oracle APEX for web-based application development
- Exposure to Oracle databases and related tools (SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning)
- Knowledge of other relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) is a plus
- Experience with third-party system integrations and APIs
- Experience working with Ellucian Banner ERP is an asset
- Knowledge of IT security best practices in an enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments for application deployment and support
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
