Introduction

We are looking for a UI Developer Intern to assist in designing and developing user interfaces for IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) applications. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in front-end development, user experience (UX) design, and workflow automation within enterprise environments.

Your Role And Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and developing UI components for IBM BAW applications using Coach Views, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Work with team on customizing UI layouts to enhance user experience and usability.
  • Integrate UI components with REST APIs and business process data.
  • Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing UI performance.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and backend developers to align UI design with workflow requirements.
  • Assist in testing UI components and fixing bugs based on feedback.
  • Document UI designs, development procedures, and best practices.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Basic Knowledge in Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and JSON data integration.
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL, DB2, or Oracle) and writing queries.
  • Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
