The role

We are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer who is excited to dive into engineering at Galileo and help us build AI and financial solutions. On our team, you will be in the middle of it all – implementing new functionality, squashing bugs, testing and deploying, monitoring and supporting mission-critical systems, and continually growing as an engineer.

What You’ll Do

• Be an integral part of the development and testing of our systems and services.
• Help translate product requirements into user stories and technical solutions.
• Implement and support highly available and scalable services in a production environment that impacts millions of individuals.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for software that you help build, test, and deploy
• Generate ideas for process improvement, initiatives, and new technologies.
• Communicate and collaborate with project leads, product managers and other software developers.
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Fullstack Developer or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Delivery principles and techniques, including unit testing and build & deploy pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and frameworks like React and Vue.js,
• Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, MongoDB
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience with deployment and pipelines (Docker, AWS)
• Good level of English.
• Experience in the fintech industry is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and good communication skills.
