Guidewire Analyst

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Guidewire Analyst. The role is based in is Finland (Keilasatama) but offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for some work from home. The Guidewire Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and integrating Guidewire software, working with databases, and supporting software development processes. Daily tasks include programming, troubleshooting integration issues, and working closely with other team members to ensure seamless technology solutions.

Job Description:

·        Analyze existing Guidewire systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

·        Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·        Define and recommend solutions for building systems that operate efficiently across multiple countries.

·        Design and implement single instance or multiple instance Guidewire systems based on client requirements.

·        Collaborate with business analysts and clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

·        Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of Guidewire systems.

·        Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

·        Conduct system testing and validation to ensure high-quality deliverables.

·        Stay updated with the latest Guidewire technologies and industry trends.

·        Proven experience as a Guidewire Technical Expert or similar role.

·        In-depth knowledge of Guidewire Insurance Suite (Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center).

·        Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles. Experience with multi-country system implementations.

·        Proficiency in Java, GOSU, and other relevant programming languages.

·        Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·        Preferred Qualifications: Guidewire certification. Experience with cloud-based Guidewire implementations. Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
