💼The opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist (Gen AI) III to join our team.

💻Responsibilities:

• Analyzes business requirements and determines a suitable solution autonomously, evaluating if an Gen AI-based solution is feasible;
• Mentors junior engineers;
• Strong understanding of business requirements;
• Skills in Stakeholder and Expectations management;
• Challenges the team processes, looking for ways to improve;
• Develops and fine-tunes models through reproducible experiments;
• Builds Gen AI and ML solutions incorporating software engineering quality standards (SDLC) and data engineering best practices;
• Perform technical design of features with autonomy;
• Understands and optimizes and monitors model performances;
• Prioritizes tasks with autonomy based on requirements and proper context.
• Owns the delivery of the project, coaching and mentoring other team members.
  
  

🛠️Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Math, Computer Science or similar;
• Previous experience developing Gen AI applications and fine tuning models and at least 3 years as Data Scientist NLP;
• Good knowledge of LLM models architecture and fine tuning techniques;
• Knowledge of at least one application Gen AI development framework (Haystack, Langchain, LLMWare, ...);
• Good knowledge of programming languages including advanced Python patterns;
• In-depth knowledge of software lifecycle practices (testing, release, deploy) and git-based workflows;
• Knowledge of Software Engineering practices;
• Ability to explain Gen-AI advantages and limitations to tech and non-technical audiences;
• Good project management skills;
• Good communication skill;
• Languages: both Italian and English;
