Mid-Level .NET Software Developer
Location: Dublin, Ireland | Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
We are seeking a Mid-Level Full-Stack .NET Software Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience to join our growing development team in Dublin. This is a full-time hybrid role offering the opportunity to work on enterprise-level systems that support large-scale operations. You'll contribute to the full software development lifecycle — from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, and deployment — within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software features using the .NET Framework.
- Build and enhance backend services, server-side logic, and application workflows based on business and technical requirements.
- Develop responsive, user-friendly web applications using ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Angular.
- Create and consume RESTful APIs and SOAP services, and integrate third-party APIs.
- Work with relational databases (SQL Server), write and optimize SQL queries, and use Entity Framework for data access.
- Apply object-oriented principles and design patterns to produce scalable and maintainable code.
- Follow secure coding practices, including robust input validation and error handling.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests; troubleshoot and debug software issues.
- Support CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to technical planning, solution design, and user acceptance support.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or a relevant postgraduate conversion course).
- 2–3+ years of professional experience developing software with .NET (VB.NET or C#).
- Solid experience in web development with ASP.NET MVC and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with SQL Server and Entity Framework.
- Strong understanding of OOP and software architecture principles.
- Experience with testing frameworks and a solid grasp of test-driven development.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Team-oriented, with experience working in collaborative environments.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
